Payment may be in the form of
personal check, money order, or cash. Billing will be sent to students after
classes begin.
Students are expected to make payment upon receipt of their bill.

The
Drop Policy
Students are expected to complete a withdrawal
form when dropping classes or withdrawing from college.
Forms are available in the Admissions and Records Office.
Refunds and grades could be affected by not following the proper
procedures.
Family Education Rights and Privacy Act
The Family Education
Rights and Privacy Act protects the student’s right to privacy. The law allows
the institution to share, without written permission of the student, “directory”
information. At LPTC that
information consists of the following: name, address, e-mail, telephone number,
date and place of birth, major field of study, participation in officially
recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic
teams, dates of attendance, degrees and awards received, and most recent
previous educational institution attended.
Any LPTC student who wishes to have directory information
protected must complete a special form supplied by the Office of Admissions and
Records within ten days following the first day of classes.

Limited scholarship opportunities are available for all eligible LPTC
students.
Scholarships
The Financial Aid Director has applications
available for those seeking scholarships from LPTC and American Indian College
Fund. The application is separate
from the Federal Financial Aid Application.
Federal Student Aid
All students are encouraged to apply for Federal
Student Aid (Pell). Applications
are available at the LPTC and the Winnebago Higher Education Office.
College staff is available to assist with the applications.
Tribal Higher Education
Scholarship Grant
The Tribal Higher Education
Grant is available only to enrolled tribal members.
In order to be eligible, a person must be a high school graduate or
G.E.D. recipient and enrolled in an academic program as an undergraduate in a
post-secondary institution. Grants
are renewable providing students meet the Tribal Higher Education Grant academic
requirements. Grant amounts vary
according to need and program dollars available.
Students should contact their Higher Education Department for deadlines
and additional information.
Veteran’s Benefits
Available to veterans of
active military service. Contact
should be made through the Financial Aid Director or the local Veteran’s
Administration Service office.
Vocational
Rehabilitation
Students with special needs
or disabilities may be eligible for benefits.

Student Right-To-Know
Student Right-to-Know and Campus
Security Act, Public Law 101-542, requires that institutions of higher education
provide information on their graduation rates to currently enrolled and
prospective students. Requests for
Little Priest Tribal College’s graduation rates should be made to the Office of
Admissions and Records.
