Job Announcement for Computer Information Systems Program Chair, Little Priest Tribal College, Winnebago, NE

 

Little Priest Tribal College invites nominations and applications for the position of Computer Information Systems Program Chair. The college is a two year liberal arts institution committed to preparing students for entering a four year institution successfully.  The campus is located on the Nebraska Winnebago Indian Reservation, approximately 20 miles from South Sioux City, NE.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must have an earned Masters’ degree (preferred) or 18 hours in area of instructional discipline from an accredited college or university and professional accomplishments sufficient to command the respect of the academic community.    Five years of college experience and at least three years of college/adult teaching experience are required.  Candidates must have demonstrated skills in administration, personnel, recruitment and retention, budgeting, and planning.  Candidates must have expertise in GIS/GPS program development.  Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to think innovative are required.
