Gretchen Healy, The Library Director
was granted her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and has finished course work for a Master of Arts in School Library Media Studies with a K-14 endorsement. She started at this library in 1991, first as a volunteer, then as Library Assistant, then Interim Director, and Director since joining the staff of LPTC in 1996. Her two children are grown. She likes to travel, visit friends, and read.
Natalie Davis, Circulation
Supervisor
Natalie received her Associate of Science degree in Natural Resources from Nebraska Indian Community College. She is continuing her education at Wayne State College in Biology. She came to us in 2000 with several years’ experience in libraries in the Fremont area. Natalie’s position involves supervising the circulation desk, and ordering books, magazines and newspapers. She likes to grow native plants, read, and work on her house in Rosalie. Natalie is a speaker on the native plants of the Winnebago reservation and recently went on a summer research experience in botany with NASA.
Alvin White, Library Aide

Affiliated Tribes of ND attended college at Candeska Cikana in Fort Totten, ND,
University of California in Irvine, CA, University of North Dakota in Grand
Forks, ND, and American University in Washington, D.C.
When Alvin is not working as a Library Aide during
the summer, he is on call with the BIA as a Radio Operator during fire season.
Alvin is also a speaker on the Native American mascot issue and has been
featured in the documentary "If the Name Has to Go ..." by Quiet Coyote
